Special Day

Many heralded yesterday as a special day because of a certain royal wedding.

And I’ll admit, I love seeing the dress and festivities.  But my yesterday was special for other reasons.

At a family festival, I saw a lady trip in a hole and a dozen people rushed to help her up.  Kids were safe and happy with their friends and family.  People stopped by my booth and were excited to learn about fair trade and making meaningful purchases.  Husbands and youth pastors were set up in hopes of supporting their growing families, and volunteers were hoping to get the word out to young woman about the blessing of life even in a difficult situation.

I don’t know where life will take me each day.  But I do know that wherever I am, there is a chance to do good.

May we always consider one another and provoke unto love and good works.
